Medical Oncology

I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical oncology with clinical experience across breast cancer, sarcoma, rare tumors, and cancer predisposition syndromes such as Li-Fraumeni and neurofibromatosis (NF1). My practice includes caring for patients with early-stage and metastatic breast cancer, complex hereditary cancer syndromes, as well as supporting multidisciplinary management for rare malignancies. I actively present at national oncology conferences (including JADPRO) on emerging treatments and clinical decision-making. I also serve on oncology advisory boards and volunteer with community cancer-awareness organizations. As a preceptor, I offer NP students exposure to real-world oncology practice, evidence-based treatment planning, patient-centered communication, and the unique challenges of caring for patients with both common and rare cancers. Students interested in oncology, genetics, and multidisciplinary cancer care will gain a supportive and high-learning environment.

The GI Health Foundation (GiHF) and Gastroenterology and Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers (GHAPP), Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS) APP & Nurse Preceptorship program aims to foster professional growth, expand clinical expertise, and promote collaborative practice within the realm of gastrointestinal health. By participating in this program, applicants will have the opportunity to work closely with esteemed colleagues in gastroenterology, gaining valuable insights and practical skills to excel in their careers. The accredited preceptorship includes two primary phases: foundational training and in-clinic workshops.

Come rotate with a busy inpatient neurocritical care service in a level one trauma center. Our patient population consists of subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracranial hemorrhage, and large hemispheric ischemic stroke, status epilepticus and multiple neurosurgical patients.

We are a teaching hospital and usually have multiple types of students rotate with our service. We have internal medicine and clinical pharmacy residents who rotate with us as well. This preceptorship has flexible hours and weekends available.

I offer clinicals in the emergency department for FNP and AGACNP students. I also work in an outpatient mental health clinic, offering rotations for PMHNP students.

Jade Health and Wellness offers a paid preceptorship program for students seeking hands-on experience in outpatient behavioral health. Our clientele ranges from adolescents (12 years and older) to end-of-life patients, presenting with a wide range of psychiatric and substance use diagnoses. Students gain exposure to psychotherapy, medication management, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, developing comprehensive skills in assessment, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary care within a real-world clinical setting.
