Open to current Massachusetts residents holding an active RN license, this program requires a commitment to a hybrid service model encompassing both in-person and telehealth delivery. We pride ourselves on an NP-led mentorship structure that empowers clinicians to advance community health through culturally sensitive care across the lifespan. Participants benefit from an immersive clinical internship with exposure to multidisciplinary teams—including APRNs, PhDs, and LCSWs—followed by a guaranteed two-year paid Contractor Fellowship for successful graduates upon licensure. Our preceptorship program is designed to prepare NP students to confidently and safely practice in outpatient mental health and telepsychiatry settings. Students train under the supervision of Sheeba Samuel, PMHNP-BC, APRN, and gain exposure to a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, and mood disorders.

Busy outpatient psychiatry care including telehealth, in-person and interventional psychiatry

This rotation would provide student NP of psychiatry with a unique blend of learning experiences. The setting provides psychotherapy, medication management and psychiatric evaluations both in-person and remotely in Florida. Additionally, students would also be exposed to in-person interventional psychiatry for the treatment of severe treatment depression through the use of TMS, Spravato, nasal and IV ketamine treatments.
