About the preceptor Grace is looking for:
Located near Austin Texas.
My name is Grace Iyamu, and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) student at the University of Texas at Arlington seeking a clinical preceptor for my Summer 2026 rotation beginning May 18, 2026. At this point, I am in critical need of placement in order to avoid delaying my program by an entire semester.
I am a Registered Nurse with over 12 years of experience at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, currently working on a cardiac/pulmonary/telemetry unit. I am highly motivated, dependable, and eager to learn under an experienced provider.
I am seeking core clinical hours in:
• Family/Internal Medicine
• Women’s Health
• Pediatrics (Primary Care, ages 0–17)
• Geriatrics (ages 65+)
Rotation Dates & Hours:
Summer: 5/18/26 – 7/31/26 (up to 180 hours)
Fall: 9/21/26 – 12/04/26 (up to 180 hours
My program allows core hours to be completed at a Family Practice or Internal Medicine site by logging hours according to patient population, offering flexibility for both the preceptor and clinic.
