Update: Application Deadline Extended for BANPA Student Sponsorship to NPAA Conference

Good news, the application deadline for Nurse Practitioner students interested in attending the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama (NPAA) conference at no-cost has been extended through Thursday September 29, 2022.  BANPA will sponsor and pay the conference registration fee for one NP student who is a member of BANPA.  We realize students are busy and may not have the opportunity to attend BANPA meetings.  Therefore, this criterion is no longer required for applicants.  Nurse Practitioner students who are members of BANPA should apply by the new deadline, Thursday September 29.  

The NPAA conference will be held in Mobile, AL at the Renaissance Hotel, October 14-15, 2022. The sponsorship includes NPAA conference registration fee and the opportunity for the Nurse Practitioner student to receive updates on new medications and treatment plans, learn how to suture and read EGKs, network with Advanced Practice Nurses, find a preceptor, earn CEs, and so much more.

Applicant Qualifications: Must be a full time or part time Nurse Practitioner student with GPA 3.0 or greater and a member of BANPA.

Application Process: Write and submit a 1 to 2 paragraph essay addressing your interest in attending the NPAA conference and your plans for future Nurse Practitioner leadership in our local BANPA organization.
