The University of South Alabama College of Nursing (USA CON) is Proud to Announce the Upcoming Launch of the USA Substance Use Disorder (SUD) teleECHO™ 

DO YOU have a need to provide high-quality integrated primary and behavioral health focused on substance use disorder interventions to your primary care patients?

DO YOU need FREE prevention, treatment, and recovery skills, knowledge, or support or new approaches to provide high-quality integrated primary care and behavioral health substance use disorder interventions?

Then the USA Substance Use Disorder (SUD) teleECHO™ can assist you!

We will use proven adult learning techniques and interactive video technology, and the ECHO Model™ to connect YOU - a community provider with specialists at centers of excellence in regular real-time collaborative sessions.

The USA SUD teleECHO™ is:

  • An opportunity for primary care and behavioral health providers to collaborate and be involved in a telementoring model.
  • A model that supports providers who are already providing integrated healthcare, those partially providing integrated healthcare, or those interested in providing integrated healthcare in the future.
  • Accessible through six monthly ninety-minute Zoom sessions an expert panel focused on integrated health and/or substance use will mentor community healthcare providers. (Pre-registration is available on the USA SUD tele ECHO™webpages).
  • Participatory - All participants will engage in a case presentation portion that mimics grand rounds in purpose.
  • Beneficial to your patients - Your patients will benefit from high-quality substance use health services from local people they know and trust.
  • A mentoring opportunity - If you are an expert that would like to join as a telementor, then the USA SUD teleECHO™ can provide the platform for professional collaboration.
