Mass causality is an unfortunate experience we have all heard about in recent years. There is a nationwide initiative to educate the public on what to do in a situation where a traumatic injury has occurred and where life-threatening bleeding is present. The “Stop the Bleed” course will teach quick techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out. The wound packing activity and tourniquet application will reinforce the importance of immediate response and interventions.
