Hello,
My name is Samantha Wood, RN, BSN, and I’m currently completing my Nurse Practitioner program with a focus in psychiatric/mental health with Maryville University. I’m reaching out to inquire whether your facility accepts or would consider accepting NP students for clinical rotations that would start in January. I am in search of a provider doing psychotherapy as well as a prescribing provider.
I’m particularly interested in gaining experience in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapeutic interventions in a variety of settings. I’m flexible with scheduling and am happy to provide all necessary documentation (university affiliation agreements, immunizations, liability insurance, etc.).
If your facility currently has a process for student placements or a designated contact for preceptorships, I’d be grateful for their information.
